We guarantee this puppy from any MAJOR GENETIC health defect(s) causing death or resulting in NON-ELECTIVE surgery(ies) for one year from the date of birth. We guarantee for 12 months against severe hip dysplasia(verified by a licensed veterinarian of our choice); except problems arising from accidents, lack of care, or improper nutrition. All puppies will have a wellness check performed and documented by a licensed veterinarian prior to being sold. All documents will be provided to the new owner at the time of receipt. Veterinary and Medical care and its associated costs are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Buyer. There is NO health guarantee against viruses and parasites ( i.e., Parvo/Coccidiosis, Kennel Cough, etc...).
Due to the varying kinds of food and different environmental conditions, the puppies come in contact with; and the fact that all puppies have immune systems that take time to mature, the terms of this guarantee will not be honored unless they are given NuVet Plus®, as directed by the manufacturer, for the entire guarantee period. If the Buyer chooses to use any other quality supplement(vitamin) in lieu of Nuvet Plus, the buyer will be required to provide proof of purchase in the form of a receipt to Sunrise Goldens via Email. Failure to do so will render this guarantee null and void except
where prohibited by law. We also highly recommend that you continue to give your pet NuVet Plus or additional supplements(vitamins, DHA, etc..) beyond the guarantee period to promote optimal health for a lifetime. Please keep in mind that every time you order your dog’s NuVet Plus vitamins, NuVet automatically notifies us.
We take extra precautions to keep our puppies from being exposed to viruses and parasites found in dirt and spread via flies by raising our puppies indoors from birth until they leave us. One of the most significant steps for a Buyer to avoid exposure is to keep puppies indoors until they are fully vaccinated (15 weeks or after the rabies vaccine). Once the puppy leaves our home, it will be up to the new owner to ensure he/she takes all precautions necessary to keep the puppy quarantined until it is fully vaccinated.
A licensed Veterinarian examines all puppies, and they are given a clean bill of health before they leave our home. To the best of the Breeder’s and Veterinarian's knowledge, this puppy has no known diseases or illnesses. This puppy is guaranteed to be free of untreatable health conditions. For this guarantee to be valid, the buyer must take the puppy to a Licensed Veterinarian of their choice for the puppy's wellness checkup within three days of delivery. The buyer must send a copy of the results from the veterinarian exam to the breeder. If a veterinarian does not see the puppy within 72 hours of receiving the puppy, this health guarantee is voided. If, upon examination, the veterinarian finds any GENETIC LIFE THREATENING condition, the buyer must notify the seller within 24 hours.
Documentation from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to the seller. The dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from a said licensed veterinarian, be returned for a refund of the purchase price.
The breeder assumes absolutely no responsibility for fees associated with caring for the puppy/dog. only after the puppy has been examined by the seller's licensed veterinarian of choice. Said puppy must be returned to the breeder along with all original registration documents and veterinarian paperwork. The original owner will then relinquish ownership back to Sunrise Goldens. The breeder reserves the right to refuse replacement of any puppy returned for temperament or hip problems caused by owner negligence or abuse, which includes but is not limited to overfeeding, excessive exercise, and improper socialization.
Any dog that is altered prior to reaching sexual maturity (12 months of age) via surgical procedure (i.e., Neutered/Spayed, ) will be exempt; hence, the buyer will not be entitled to a replacement puppy. We believe you should wait until your puppy/dog is at least 20- 24 months of age before a gonadectomy is performed. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will monies be refunded at any time if a gonadectomy was performed prior to the agreed-upon age.
The buyer will receive a health record for the puppy at the time of purchase, and the buyer is responsible for maintaining all health records after purchase. Otherwise, the purchase guarantee is voided. This contract is non-transferable. Sunrise Goldens guarantees that at the time of delivery, this puppy is in excellent health. Our veterinarian checks all Sunrise Goldens puppies at seven weeks old. Puppies are wormed at 3,5 and 7 weeks of age. Puppies receive a health check, appropriate shots, and microchips at seven weeks of age, which includes a fecal test on a puppy. Proper worming protocol and full body exam (i.e., ears, eyes, mouth, teeth, and heart) have been done by our veterinarian. Your puppy folder has the information regarding wellness check, microchip information, and shot records to take to your veterinarian.
